Our Founder
My name is Cassaundra Parrish
I'm an Army Veteran, proud Auntie of 8, avid crafter, and happy Dog Mom (shh, don't tell the fluffs - the kittehz will always be my favorite!)
I believe in the tangible, transformative, and expressive nature of creating with fiber and its benefit for mental health, grounding, and wellness.
There is power in the ancient tradition of making and art. Power in the act's ability to cultivate connection, creativity, and self-care. Kitting, Crochet, Weaving, Embroidery, Stitching, Spinning, Felting ...
My mission is to serve our community by connecting local suppliers and creators with customers and proteges, spreading the joy of "Granny crafts" at Granny's Cottage, in Granny's Workshops, and through meaningful engagement.

Granny's Vision
A message from our Founder
Grow Together
Granny's Vision is to grow from a successful fiber arts & supply shop into a thriving Non-Profit community of crafters and art-therapy partners in Harford County.
Granny's legacy will be clear as the young (and young at heart) are inspired to craft unique items to bring joy for themselves and others. We'll capture wisdom from our Elders and encourage self-expressive innovation while honoring the rich history of textiles and handcrafted traditions to celebrate the artistry and life embedded in every piece.
I know we'll realize our Vision because YOU're here now. I'm genuinely humbled and honored to have you walk this journey with me.
We got this, one stitch at a time!
